  24. You have been mis-informed.  I get transfer rates of 1,600+ cps
  25. on a regular basis with kermit with my 14.4 Kbps modem, and it
  26. only required some minor tweaking on my part.  Look through the
  27. help files for the section on control prefixes, and set your
  28. packet sizes to be at least 1000.  These transfer rates are at
  29. least as good as the rates zmodem will get you.
